The Bapco Modernisation Program (BMP) represents a major US 4.2 billion expansion and upgrade of the existing facility that will allow the total refinery throughput to increase up to a maximum of 380 thousand barrels per day. The Bapco refinery complex is located in the East of Bahrain, approximately 10km south of Manama.
